The Call for proposals utilizes TWO presentation proposal forms. Form A has identifying information on it, but form B is anonymous and used to facilitate our blind peer review process. People have two options in completing the forms: (1) download the forms in MS Word format, fill out the interactive form fields that are included on them, save them to a file on your computer, and then attach them to an email message, sent to our peer review committee (peer.review@aagt-manchester08.org); (2) send a message asking for an email version of the forms, complete the information asked for, all within the body of the email, and then send it to our peer review committee (peer.review@aagt-manchester08.org).
OPTION ONE: Click on the links below to download the forms to your computer
OPTION TWO: send a message to proposalform@aagt-manchester08.org asking that the forms be sent to you via email. Fill them out and send them in, according to the instructions found on the forms.
[The presentation proposal process for this conference is conducted by electronic means, so there is no address for sending these documents through the post.]
Another option is to copy the following forms (A & B), which appear in letter format (as if sent out in email), and then paste them into an empty email message, fill them out, and send them to the email address that appears in the instructions:
Dear Proposed Presenter,
Thank you for requesting the presentation proposal form. There are actually two parts (A and B) to the form; the first part links your identification to the title, and the second part allows us to evaluate the proposal through blind peer review. Both are needed and sent to you under separate cover. If you have any problems with this process, please let me know.
Warm Regards,
Philip Brownell and Mae Tang

Presentation Proposal Form A:
Cover Letter and Attending Documentation
“Borders and Bridges: Differentiation in Contact”
Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy – An International Community
9th International Gestalt Therapy Conference
Manchester, England July 23-27, 2008
Please complete this form (A), which has personally identifying information about you, the presenter (or presenters) using this email document. Then, please complete the second form (B), which has all information specific to your presentation proposal (do not put any personally identifying information on the second form). When finished, send the completed forms (there are two of them) to our Peer Review Committee (peer.review@aagt-manchester08.org). Thank you for your patience and cooperation in providing all this information, which, though detailed, is necessary to the conference planners for various reasons. If you are confused and have questions, please send your questions to proposalform@aagt-manchester08.org.
By sending in a presentation proposal a person agrees, if the presentation is accepted for the program, to register before May 1, 2008 and to attend the entire conference. Scheduling of the presentation will be arranged by the Program Planning Committee to meet the needs of the overall program and cannot be guaranteed in any particular order. Extenuating circumstances can be discussed with the co-chairs of the Program Planning Committee (mae@aagt-manchester08.org and/or phil@aagt-manchester08.org).
If accepted, notification from the Program Planning Committee will be extended by the end of February, 2008, requiring response to confirm that the presenters will be attending and have registered for the conference. If communication confirmation and registration is not received by the Program Planning Committee by May 1, 2008, they will shift said presentation off the program and select one of the alternate presentations in its place (this will be at the discretion of the program planning committee in order to meet the needs of the conference).
Please provide a cover letter in the space provided and complete the remaining form that follows. Include in your cover letter the title of your presentation, your name, highest degree, your complete address, telephone number, FAX, and e-mail address, and (if applicable) the same for all co-presenters.
